chs idol singing competition

i met hui peng there!after so many attempts to ajak her..which all failed..finally we met each other there..without 'appointment'..hp the busy FRIENDLY helpful smart accountant...seriously her relations with other people real good..so many people came up to say hi to her while we were busy catching up with each other

well..i went back to chs today...to...erhem erhem... judge for the catholic high school singing competition:chs idol 2008 audition..eheh..

i was asked to judge for the form1-form3 solo group..based on vocal..rythm and diction..
it was a fun experience..getting to see cute little form 1 guys and girls singing to you..one by one..
most of them were nervous and anxious..we tried to give them a huge warm smile..hoping that it will calm them down..but most..in vain..

some of them forgot the lyrics(normal~)..

a lot of them sang out of tune(datz why i say during audition when one sings out of tune..dont panic!its so normal..most of them did that..once at least~note:audition lah..dont go out of tune in the finals..)

and two cute little girls anxiously requested that they wana hold a water bottle(as a imitative mic) while singing..lol it gives them a sense of security?or confidence?so cute..we allowed of course..and yet after singing when we gave her comments the girl was like...omg my heart is beating so fast..so nervous..sorry arr ..and thank you so much for the bottle..she was kinda like panting after that..haha..she sang quite well actually..be confident mar :)

and one of the girl almost cried because she forgotten the lyrics..scared me..i dared not ask her to stop or leave..and mon wei kindly asked her to sing another song then..

and one of the girls was so courteous..she bowed(as in more than 90 degrees kind of bow)before and after she sang..saying thank you over and over again

and there is this guy that kept smiling away when mon wei gave him some professional advice

and this girl that purposely came up to us to tell us that she is having sore throat..with a real upset look on her face...

some stood there like a stone..some are at the brim of dancing already
theres a girl that challenged the song 新不了情 ,and 隐形的翅膀 was one of the most popular song..and most guys decided to sing like jay chow=_=not opening their mouths wide enough~

i do admire those that plucked up the courage to join though they know they cant really sing well..(comparing to those that took up singing classes la...)just to try and have fun..as me myself did not have the courage to do so when i was in chs..haha what i did was i joined the choir club..and joined choir singing competition..where MANY people sing together...haha..miss those days where we went to melaka for the inter-state choir singing competition..so enjoyable..and fun!!MUSIC


anyhow..overall..girls sang better than the guys..perhaps its because of their age..the fact that their voice are at the stage of changing (变声)..u know 13/14 year old guys..

lol..but then i must admit that chs has a lot of hidden talent.. awaiting for their opportunity to shine!
so many people joined chs idol i tell you..the f1-f3 solo group itself has 140++ contestants..and only 40 will pass..sad eh?let alone those f4-f6 solo and group group....so many people out there do dream of being a star eh?

to those who failed..jangan patah semangat..you are not bad..just that those people there too terror!work harder dont cry
to those who made it..CONGRATULATIONS!well done..good luck in your finals~

for this year..those HAILUO people will come and judge for the semi-finals man..so if he/she is lucky enough..and really have the talent..he might be chosen and tadaa...becomes a star...awesome

oh and the chairman of the chs idol project this year..yoon leen did a good job i must say..everything went well and smooth..no delays..in fact the auditions ended earlier than expected..efficient eh..gambateh!


OOPS..ITS GETTING LATE!2mrw i have to wake up at 430am..to rush back to kampung for cheng beng ler...sob sob..i wana sleep..
