The Purple Diary ♥: Retro Techno Freshie Night

It had been a really busy week......from tonnes of hwk from our bullet-train-like F6 lecturer(kinda admire her though..the way she speak VERY confidently and how she demands perfections in life...)...to the bulky F4 law paper(A LOT to memorise!)....I have lootttsss of grandmother story to tell and blog about...but then SERIOUSLY no time lah.............(it has been kinda long since i last sign in to msn and chat or hang around this blog sphere........)

PLUS it was THE week for student junior leaders...RETRO TECHNO FRESHIE NIGHT!!First it was booth setting up..then promotions and ticket selling..then on thursday night...the event took off....and im quite relief and happy to say that in spite of the internal mess and some problems....the event went on quite well....!!much better than expected....

Credits to the MC...Terrence and John who did an excellent job....they managed to create the hype....and handle the crowd...
In this 21st century ...all information are just a click away i must say hehe..googled Retro Techno Freshie Night..and apparently most are good comments...(though of course they are still lots of room for improvement larr...)but anyhow....great effort done!thank you Jack Shen,Kean and all junior leaders!PA crew...cimp photographers..volunteer helpers...all performers..(sunU dance club..ravolutionary club..cimp dance club..bollywood dancers etc)U guys rock man!performance wasn't bad at all..frm popping..sexy dance.... pole dancing to 'modelling'..luckily we had u guys.......great combined effort....

Was ushering at the main door..and i see students clad in beautiful retro dresses, thick hairbands and also some in very shiny bling bling techno clothes,plastic high heels...having a dress code did deter some students from coming but it had also draw a lot of students to come and join the fun...

Anyway Sue..i have found the answers to that question...we work so hard for what leh?(gam san fu zhou mat?!)I shall say it was undeniably a great LEARNING experience...we see a lot of issues which cant be seen or learn from textbooks horr....

booth....pheeww ticket sales were slow at first...luckily close to 500 tickets were sold off..tickets were selling fast on wed and thur..we aimed for 400 students at first haha..hmm msian simply just love last minute decisions huh...
