The Four Letter Word...

Out of supreme boredom..I surfed the net and came across this very quote..

Love is a temporary madness.

Hmm...interesting indeed...how very true.

People in this modern era tend to promise for eternity too hastily..
without knowing what the word forever would
imply..
and require..

Guess that explains the distinguishable line between
infatuation..
and love..

That is also when the word commitment comes into the picture..
time..energy..perserverance..efforts..'xin'..romance..ups..downs..patience..give..forgive..compromise..tolerance..love..
the list goes on.......

Compassionate enough to love and accept the beauty we once saw and fell 'in love' with..
and also the uglier side that we were once blinded from..
Sincere and true enough..to love unconditionally..


it is only then..
long lasting love grows..into the beautiful tree (with the roots entwined together,as above..) that many yearned for..
where we enjoy a life filled with utter happiness..warmth..and sweetness..
