I now totally understand this phrase.
I have been really busy lately. A life stlye which im quite satisfied and happy with though.
Busy with studies...and also with the student junior leaders program.
I feel like i have been given more opportunity to learn, gain experience and grow.
From the visit to MMU in conjunction with the friendship day..to meetings...trainings..the inter-uni sports carnival tomorrow..and cultural night(meet international students!) on saturday.. each and every second seems more inspiring and meaningful.
Enrich and treasure the uni life we have now while we are still young and energetic so that we have no regrets when we turn old in future..haha
Ive learnt that when we are exposed to more stuff..big or small events..we tend to realize how small are we in this world...and we get to learn from others..see how they handle unforeseen problems...how people present themselves...how such events are handled...how those leaders lead..
every different individual have different stories and experience to share. Its like 'clicking' on them and then view this whole page of their biography...reading those interesting stories one by one...
Simply love meeting people..
And when there is lesser time,I tend to treasure the leisures i managed to grab, the time i share with my family and friends and the free time i earned to study... more... :)
In comparison to the free relaxed lifestyle i used to have..the one that had allowed my mind to wander around..thinking too much thus rendering depression...
Now... i kinda realized how insignificant those 'significant' problems i used to think i was facing were...as compared to so many issues in this world....so many people are in need of desperate help...from the i-quarreled-with-my-parents-yesterday..to those ive-lose-my-home-and-my-family-in-the-earthquake problems..politics...fuel hike....
so many people...so many problems..what are we as compared to this ever-changing world?
Lol guess i will grow to be a workaholic in future?at the moment...i prefer packed timetable to what-to-do-leh sien type of life style..(but of coz...having some time to relax will be good too okay...) i want to lead a meaningful and happy life..together with a happy family.
live with purpose :)
aza aza fighting!
ANYHOW..
its cultural night tomorrow..And throughout the week i had this sudden zeal of trying on and searching for traditional clothes. It was fun :)
I was so happy when dad agreed to sponsor rm50 for me to buy a cheongsam.
Its not about the money actually... Its just that i love the fact that he is giving me his support and of coz it also made me feel less guilty when i splurged on something i like.
It is also worth mentioning that it is really rare(as in reallllly rare) that my dad will spend money on buying me something which he deems is a waste of money and merely for ban leng leng purpose..
and that is why each time he objects..i miss my mum a lot.....extra more...because i know..if my mum is here...she would stand by my side and even bring me around to shop for dresses..make ups...u know..those girl stuff lah...
that was how i got my first dinner clothes...my first facial stuff...my first nike shoe and those purple 'diamond' butterfly clip...
women and guys...dads and mums are different in that sense.
AND THEREFORE...i was really happy when he, all of a sudden said,"nah u go buy ur cheongsam..budget 5o only ah..and minus one new shirt of chinese new year...this one consider as new clothes already..."(haha a good example of dad's 口硬心软-ness)
It somehow gave me this urge of treasuring him more.
I know he loves me.
And I love you too.
somehow i noticed each time sum1 treats me extraordinarily nice...i tend to love and treasure that person a lot....
You are a GREAT dad..daddy.
and hence..the journey of trying on traditional attires.
ive tried sari!!
many thanks to my Indian neighbor...
sari is a very nice piece of art i must say...6 meter of cloth..wrapped artistically around ur body..
complicated leh!!
to wear a sari..a tad bit of creativity...artistic sense and patience! is required

erhem ignore price tag...and that strap erhem
bought this.....love it!why?PURPLE mah(plus its a symbol of dad's support :)
and and so ngam my sis is also in search of traditional clothes...for the merdeka celebration choir performance in chs worr...when i was in choir i only got to wear our bright pink and yellow batik uniform to perform...now they get to wear traditional clothes..sing those patriotic songs on stage...haha
pretty leh....oh no sum1 is turning into a poser too!(i teach her to pose one actually....)HAHAHA
what kind of pose is this......=_= (i didnt teach her that)
chaoz~
anyway..its beijing olympics 2morrow!!
