I remember once my mum bought a silver necklace with a key pendant for my cousin on her 21st birthday..and I naively asked her the meaning of it..
I was still in primary then..

She told me she would give me one when i reach 21..
It represents the key to adulthood..more freedom..more responsibility..

If and only she is here...........................................

Got scolded by dad for leaving the purse in the car after picking up my little sis from art class yesterday (and hence driving without license today..)
for being irresponsible even at the age of 21.zz nice.
Got scolded just as I got home to celebrate the supposedly-all-s0-big-day of reaching the age of 21..
zzzz kinda sang 'happy' birthday with a long face.and a pair of teary eyes..yish!(why am I being all so sensitive on this day...stupid me grr)

Birthday doesnt seem to be a great thing in this house of mine..no one really seems to care..all back to their respective rooms to carry on with their own stuff after the 'ceremony'..or the 'tradition'..didnt even get to share how was my day like..(or maybe its my red teary eyes that scared them away after the minor argument with dad..yea great..an argument just right before i cut the cake)
no questions.no an wei.no sayang.no nothing.(just let me rant and manja for this last time here ok )
yea then all this stupid self-pity overwhelming mood came attacking again..stupid lms.
21 so what??what is the big deal..you are you.they are they.stop comparing.

anw yea as a boo say..should be happy to have family to celebrate with already..look at the positive side of things..
Lucky enough already..everything happens for a reason..whatever it is..be grateful loh meng shuen!zzzz

and wth y must i always think of my mum and sulk even more when i feel down..

Animatedly shared with them my jogoya experience..my bday with frenz at ole ole bali etc today..lol =.= as though nothing had happened..dad and sis were happily listening..
Guess this is what we call....'sha fa cheong'.FAMILY version.lol

oh and BTW..I THINK dad was INDICATING that i could have a ahem BF ahem...
AHEM i THINK la..
(he was gleefully telling me that mum was 21 when he was after her LOL!and that he wrote a letter to her,and her first letter to him was on how was her 21st bday like...LOL)>.<

anw..on a lighter note..I had a GREAT time with my classmates and a boo at ole ole bali earlier tonight...(guess things/happiness/sadness have to get balanced up usually?had too much fun earlier that night..used up too much of the 'kuota"....this would explain it..ANW thatz just some random stuff im telling myself..can ignore if u dont understand la)
really had fun..simply love friends..the laughther and warmth..
