I have a very special friend. Special because she has certain attributes that I admire a lot.
Admire those values in her simply because those are the things that I lack..haha.
According to our presentation class trainer, people tend to look up to people that owns qualities that they do not have. Well I guess it is true. :)

I admire that determination and drive in her..despite staying at a place which is definitely not just a stone's throw away from college..she walks to school in the morning..all the way from USJ to Sunway..to attend class.. 8am class..a walk of 30 minutes,starting at 7am..not to mention the books and thick notes that have to be carried along..
She treasures each opportunity to learn..and listens to the lecturers attentively despite being exhausted at times.

That determination, independence and hard work she is willing to put in despite the 'hardship'..is something commendable indeed. She knows what she wants..and do not bend down easily to challenges..challenges which to some of us..is ENORMOUS..and 'impossible to overcome'..but to her, she didnt even notice it existed :)
willing to put in hard work..hard work, commonly known as a key ingredient to success!

How many of the blessed children of this modern era who drives their brand new car bought by their parents to college glamorously..and ended up sleeping in class.. being late..or hanging out 'cool-ly' at AC...'studying' fabulously in Starbucks etc..

How many of us actually complain and whine over the smallest matter..for not been GIVEN enough..always focusing on what we lacked..being so blessed yet so pessimistic..
知足，的确常乐。

She is a very independent person indeed. She cooks herself..walks to Jusco AND THEN to Giant to shop for her own groceries at the best bargain...carries the goods home herself..washes her own clothes..does her own housework.......
not to mention she has a big heart for her family, sisters and us, friends.
always thinking of what to buy or get for her family, not herself.
A very humble person with a kind heart :)

It was her birthday yesterday..and she invited us over to her place to have lunch..HOME COOKED by her..and of course assisted by her sweet boyfriend :)
We enjoyed the meal..and had so much fun :)
